Health Services Business Analyst

Linn County Health Services is excited to recruit a Business Analyst to join our team. This role focuses on evaluating and analyzing data from health services programs to support informed decision-making and ensure compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

Develop, review and maintain reporting to monitor and evaluate work performance in relation to documentation standards to ensure compliance with federal and state billing rules and regulations
Use expertise in data analytics and acquired detailed knowledge of program operations to import, export, modify, create and analyze data and reports. Present reports and analytics to management
Develop, design, produce and maintain reports to record, organize and extract data from the program's system
Provide education and consultation in relation to the daily use of program systems including the Electronic Medical Records systems to ensure accurate data collection
Research and recommend operational changes including shifts in processes and system use based on program data analysis and/or changes in Federal and State regulations and rules
Develop, review and manage external reporting needs including community partners and State oversight divisions
Develop and maintain effective, harmonious and reasonable work relationships with others
Maintain regular and predictable work attendance

Required

A Bachelor's Degree in data science, data analytics, business analytics, health administration, data visualization, health informatics or related field from an accredited institution is required
Must be credentialed with all Medicaid insurances within 3 months of employment
Certain assignments may require certification by the State Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Services Division or the State Office of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Programs following appointment
Must be able to pass a criminal history check
Must possess or obtain a valid Oregon driver's license with an acceptable driving record that meets the County's requirements

Preferred

An additional three years or more experience with business analytics, data collection and analytics, report development, working within healthcare and/or healthcare administration is preferred or any satisfactory equivalent combination of experience, education and training which demonstrates the ability to perform the work described
