Responsibilities
Prepare and review design plans, calculations, and technical reports for roadway and multimodal projects
Apply engineering standards and codes to ensure accuracy and compliance in design work
Support coordination with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and reviewing agencies
Perform design analyses, cost estimates, and quantity takeoffs for assigned project components
Assist in quality assurance reviews and respond to design review comments or field questions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering
7-10+ years of transportation engineering experience with TxDOT projects
Professional Engineer (PE) license
Proficiency in Microstation ORD, AutoCad, and Civil3D software
Preferred
Proposal writing/marketing experience is a plus
