Responsibilities
Lead and contribute to civil site and land development projects from concept through construction for residential, commercial, institutional, and municipal developments
Perform design, permitting, and construction-phase support in a team-based setting
Develop land development plans using Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D
Prepare and review engineering calculations related to stormwater management, drainage systems, erosion and sediment control, sanitary sewer systems, water distribution systems, detention facilities, and pump stations
Utilize industry-standard hydraulic and hydrologic modeling software to support design solutions
Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to junior engineers and designers
Coordinate with internal teams, municipalities, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with applicable standards and codes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering Technology
Minimum of 5 years of relevant civil site or land development design experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative design environment and manage multiple priorities
Interest in professional growth and leadership development
Preferred
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, or ability to obtain licensure within a short timeframe
Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D (recent versions preferred)
Experience with stormwater and utility modeling tools such as Hydraflow, HydroCAD, WaterCAD, or similar software
