Facilities Manager (hybrid)
Merchant & Gould P.C. is a fast-paced downtown Minneapolis law firm seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the facilities function including maintenance, project management, and office operations. The role involves managing vendors, developing budgets, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment for employees.

Responsibilities
Responsible for the physical delivery of office services, including office supplies, office maintenance, moves, purchasing and security
Responsible for smooth and efficient daily office operations
Develop and manage capital and operational budgets and tracking monthly expenses
Conduct cost analysis and vendor comparisons
Manage vendors to ensure supplies are well stocked and maintained
Maintain business relations with the property management offices
Provide support to multiple office locations from Minneapolis location
Supervision of receptionist and Service Center (third party outsource company)
Develop and maintain business relationships with vendors. Request pricing bids and negotiate service
Coordinate with external contractors on special projects and/or construction projects
Monitor annual budget; process and reconcile all invoicing from vendors
Responsible for disaster recovery planning, ADA and other environmental concerns to promote a safe and secure environment for employees
Qualification
Required
Minimum of three (3) days in the office is required

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks
Exceptional attention to detail
Ability to lift boxes and packages weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis (occasional lifting/physical work)
Potential emergency or after hours responsibilities as emergencies arise
Travel required based on projects (up to 10%)
Regular attendance at work
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred (Business Management, Administration, Communications) or equivalent experience (customer service, scheduling, project management, communication in a corporate setting)
Law firm experience helpful in understanding the environment
Supervisory experience with vendors and/or employees preferred
