Responsibilities
Handle, move, and deliver materials such as pipe, fittings, vent, valves, insulation, and raw metal products
Transport materials to open areas, confined spaces, and elevated locations onboard ship
Pick, stage, and store materials using established material storage and picking systems
Read tape measures and rulers to verify material sizes
Operate industrial saws (training provided if needed)
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Provide customer-focused support to production teams
Qualification
Required
Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs
Ability to walk, climb, crawl, bend, squat, stoop, and stand for 8-hour shifts
Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
Able to work in varying environmental conditions
Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
Reliable, dependable, and safety-minded
Energetic with a strong work ethic
Basic knowledge of material handling and storage systems
Logistics: 3 years (Required)
Preferred
Forklift operator experience
Experience handling industrial or shipyard materials
Experience working with raw metal products
Forklift: 2 years (Preferred)
