Senior Financial Analyst
Medica is a nonprofit health plan serving communities across multiple states. The Senior Financial Analyst will support the Joint Venture partnership with SSM Health, focusing on financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting to improve financial performance and drive business growth objectives.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with Joint Venture leadership team to drive business growth objectives for products being offered and designed. Focus will include pricing, sales, network configuration and administrative efficiencies
Own and lead forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-term plan development for all business segments. Regular forecasting and budgeting updates will be made throughout the year covering the entire P&L for the Joint Venture
Represent the needs and requirements of the Joint Venture to understand and influence decisions in the development of trend reporting, cost saving initiatives, operational and platform performance and non-claims medical expenses
Lead Joint Venture initiatives and evaluate financial performance of key decisions. Examples of such initiatives could include Affordability and Health Management programs, acquisitions, outsourcing arrangements and value-based care offerings
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or equivalent experience in related field
8+ years of work experience beyond degree
Preferred
Experience in finance and/or strategy in healthcare, insurance or managed care
Experience working with capitated and value-based care models preferred
