Responsibilities

Assist with drafting and reviewing legal documents (pleadings, discovery, case management orders, etc.)

Assist in scheduling and preparing for depositions, mediations, and trials, including sending out notices, hiring court reporters/videographers, etc

Obtain, organize, and maintain medical records, imaging, and bills

Efile in State and Federal Courts

Correspond with opposing counsel, experts, witnesses, and clients

Coordinate and manage case schedules and comply with deadlines

Required

Proven experience as a litigation paralegal in a medical malpractice or personal injury environment preferred (but will look at defense side candidates)

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Ability to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Familiar with discovery in personal injury cases

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software applications
