Senior Account Executive - Oxford Commercial Finance
Oxford Bank is seeking a Senior Account Executive for their Oxford Commercial Finance division. The role involves managing client portfolios, ensuring compliance with banking standards, and mentoring junior staff while minimizing client losses and operational costs.

Responsibilities
Manage portfolio through complete and current knowledge of client's financial condition, management's capabilities, industry trends, and take timely action so client losses are minimized and do not exceed budgeted standards
Responsible for ensuring all advances and loans comply with loan policy and approved structure
Responsible for documenting all relationships to ensure approved and required legal documentation is received
Resolve factoring and ABL service problems, control operational costs and minimize loss of clients to competition
Propose changes in policies and procedures to reduce costs and provide better and more efficient services
Structure and underwrite changes to existing deals for management approval including presentation to OCF’s credit committee when necessary
Understand OCF’s credit policies and minimum underwriting standards
Work closely with Underwriter and Operations team members during the transition of prospects to new clients to assist with the closing, initial funding, and onboarding of new clients
Requires minimum amount of traveling to meet with clients and develop new business relationships
Mentor and train less experienced Account Executives in portfolio administration and customer service

Qualification
Required
Experience in analyzing or underwriting factoring or asset-based lending transactions
Knowledge in secured lending with a focus on collateral analysis and cash flow
Organized and attention to detail required to understand and manage risk, amongst a diverse group of client relationships
Strong credit analysis and analytical skills
Ability to review and effectively spread financial statements
Excellent verbal and communication skills, with the further ability to effectively understand and negotiate legal documents
Five or more years' experience in asset-based lending positions, with a minimum of at least 3 years as an Account Executive or Underwriter. Such experience should include proficiency in managing or underwriting more complex capital structures (i.e. inventory and equipment loans) and strong financial and analytical skills
Preferred
Bachelor's degree with a concentration in accounting or finance
Previous field exam experience working on secured lending transactions
