Vendor Management Analyst
Redstone Federal Credit Union is seeking a Vendor Management Analyst to conduct analysis for informed business decisions regarding outsourced services and vendor selection. The role involves monitoring contracts, providing guidance on vendor relationships, and ensuring legal compliance in all contract processes.

Responsibilities
Plans and conducts investigations of current and potential vendors and business partners to evaluate and mitigate risk; assists other departments with the assessment of vendors and outsourced services; compiles risk management and contract documentation for review
Monitors current contract renewals, extensions and terminations; reviews and negotiates new contracts with vendors and business partners; drafts finalized contracts, renewals and terminations
Provides guidance and assistance to Credit Union staff regarding third party vendor contracts, relationships and loss mitigation
Interacts with upper management and legal counsel to research and resolve problems utilizing legal sources such as statutes, legal codes and case law to ensure legal compliance and provide requested information
Reviews contracts and other legal documents and ensures they are processed in a timely manner, assists other department staff as necessary
Supervises and prepares records and reports of vendor contracts and relationships; ensures a database of information, including, but not limited to; evaluations, approvals or denials, vendor classifications and correspondence is maintained and up-to-date
Assists department in developing and recommending third party vendor management procedures
Finds ways to continually improve the efficiency of departmental processes to provide the best service to our members
Promotes the Credit Union by participating in community involvement and special events
Maintains a professional image and demeanor at all times, consistently demonstrating Credit Union RISE Values and adhering to the Code of Ethics
Delivers friendly, caring service to internal and external members
Complies with all applicable State, Federal and NCUA rules and regulations and all Credit Union policies and procedures
Follow all physical and online security procedures and maintain strict confidentiality of all member information
Completes all required regulatory and compliance training and maintains required knowledge of Credit Union products and services
Works scheduled hours and maintains punctuality
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested
Qualification
Required
4 Year / Bachelors Degree in Business or Legal related field - Required
2 Years Relevant experience in contract negotiations, legal research and writing or legal document review - Required
Effectively apply internal and external customer service practices and processes to meet quality service standards and achieve member satisfaction
Learn and apply information, on a wide range of Credit Union products, services and regulatory compliance requirements, in order to assess member situations and develop solutions
Resolve problems utilizing advanced knowledge and experience
Communicate in a professional manner and deliver information clearly and effectively. Actively listen to questions, opinions and ideas of others. Use tact and diplomacy in sensitive and confidential situations
Use correct English including spelling, grammar and punctuation
Operate computers and use business software and other standard office equipment
Understand and follow written and oral instructions
Set priorities and manage one's own time effectively
