Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and maintain Swiss-style CNC machines or precision CNC lathes
Machine installations and setup
Perform adjustments and repairs of spindles, drives, slides, hydraulic systems, electronic controls, electrical peripherals, and other items
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
Calibrate, adjust, and replace components to ensure precise machine performance
Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings with customers and internal teams

Qualification

Swiss-style CNC machinesFanuc controlsSpindle rebuildsMechatronics certificationElectro-mechanical systemsTroubleshooting skillsCustomer service skillsReading schematicsProblem-solving skills

Required

3 or more years maintaining and repairing Swiss-style CNC machines or precision CNC lathes
Knowledge of Fanuc controls
Strong understanding of spindle rebuilds, ball screw alignments, and servo systems
Technical training or certification in mechatronics, electro-mechanical systems, automation, robotics, industrial maintenance, fluid power, etc
Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills
Willingness to travel locally to customer sites, with 4-6 overnights per month
