This role will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, installation, and operation of electrical components throughout the hotel complex.

Responsibilities

Responds to customer complaints in a timely manner

Executes the installation of electrical panels and associated piping and wiring as directed

Assist the Convention Service department as required

Plans, directs, and records periodic electrical testing, and recommends or initiates modification or replacement of equipment which fails to meet acceptable operating standards

Assist Housekeeping department to resolve lighting problems as required

Conduct shop inventories as directed

Comply with established safety rules and health regulations of The BROADMOOR Hotel and Engineering department

Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

Other duties as assigned

Required

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally required to lift/push/pull up to 50
