Samsung Research America (SRA) is seeking a Summer intern in the Clinical team to contribute to the development of consumer-engaged digital healthcare products. The intern will assist the Clinical Verification and Validation Team with clinical studies for Samsung’s software as medical device features, working closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Work onsite daily with the Clinical V&V Team to help execute study protocols for Mobile/Wearable Applications

Create or update post processing tools in MATLAB for clinical studies

Author documentation for clinical tools (tool qualification reports)

Work with cross-functional teams to procure, monitor, and analyze data

Required

Currently enrolled in a PhD or Master's program in STEM or an Engineering field with an interest in clinical research (Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical engineering)

Experience with MATLAB

Knowledge of wearables and technology

Experience in data analysis, statistical calculations and data presentation

Ability to communicate ideas with cross functional team and senior leadership

Familiarity with MS Word, Excel

Familiarity with Python
