Confidential company is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant Sales Manager to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will support the sales department by supervising daily operations, motivating staff, and ensuring outstanding customer experiences while driving sales growth.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing daily store operations, including overseeing sales activities and customer interactions

Support and supervise sales staff to meet or exceed sales targets through coaching and motivation

Conduct employee orientation sessions and participate in interviewing prospective team members

Handle customer inquiries with professionalism, ensuring excellent customer service and phone etiquette

Oversee inventory management, merchandising, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to maximize sales opportunities

Assist with training and development initiatives to enhance team skills in retail math, POS systems, and product knowledge

Support marketing efforts by promoting store promotions and special events to attract new customers

Required

Proven assistant manager or supervisory experience within a retail or automotive environment

Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing sales effectively

Familiarity with inventory control, POS systems, cash handling, and retail math principles

Demonstrated leadership in team management, training & development, and store operations

Experience with budgeting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks related to retail management

Ability to manage time efficiently while balancing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting
