MOUNTAIN PARK HEALTH CENTER is seeking a Patient Communication Specialist III to manage patient communications effectively. The role involves handling inbound and outbound calls, explaining insurance options, and scheduling medical appointments while ensuring patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Assists patients in understanding their health benefits options and explains eligibility criteria and the documentation required to apply for various insurance and benefit programs
Assists new patients in registering with Mountain Park Health Center and verifies patient demographics, insurance information, and updates changes as needed
Investigates and resolves patient questions regarding the amount owed to the business, explains the various payment options available, and collects payments
Makes outbound phone calls to confirm medical and eligibility appointments
Makes outbound phone calls pertaining to gaps in clinical care and scheduling medical appointments
Responds to escalated/priority calls, questions, and inquiries
Maintains regular and predictable attendance and adheres to daily schedule
Performs other duties as assigned

Qualification

Call Center ExperienceInsurance VerificationCall Center SoftwareBilingual (English/Spanish)Financial CounselingCollections ExperienceMS Excel

Required

2+ years of call Center experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Call Center: 3 years (Required)

Preferred

6+ months of experience in the healthcare revenue cycle, financial counseling, or insurance verification
6+ months of experience in collections or a related financial field
1+ year experience using various call center software such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or Telephony systems
Bilingual in both English and Spanish
MS Excel: 3 years (Preferred)
Insurance Verification: 1 year (Preferred)
Healthcare Insurance Verification: 1 year (Preferred)
Call Center Software (CRM or Telephony): 3 years (Preferred)
Spanish (Preferred)
