Responsibilities
Meet our members' lending needs by providing them with a lending experience that meets their financial needs in a professional, positive, and personal way
Develop new relationships and maintain existing relationships in order to become our members' personal lender
Participate in outbound calling campaigns to cultivate strong relationships with our members
Ensure we are meeting all our members' financial needs by searching for additional loan or deposit opportunities with every encounter
Deliver results that exceed member expectations, individual goals, and department goals
Provide our members with peace of mind by presenting them with optional protection products during the loan process
Process consumer loan requests from application to closing
Understand and follow the credit union's lending policies
Be willing to work a modified work schedule if necessary, including some evenings and Saturdays
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/GED
Previous experience at a financial institution or 3 years sales experience
Preferred
Previous sales experience is a plus
Motivated, goal-oriented, and enthusiastic
Outgoing and a problem solver
Record of exceeding sales goals
Sales competencies that will help you exceed goals and advance your career
