Responsibilities

Perform in-depth analysis and modeling of the fuel's behavior, depletion, and long-term performance
Develop the fuel cycle strategy and optimize fuel efficiency
Model source terms and ensure safety throughout the entire lifecycle of Hadron's micro modular reactor

Required

Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Nuclear Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related field
5+ years of experience in nuclear fuel cycle analysis and fuel performance modeling
Deep expertise in isotopic depletion and transmutation simulation tools
Proficiency in codes such as SCALE (ORIGEN), Serpent, MCNP, or equivalent for fuel cycle and depletion analysis
Strong understanding of nuclear fuel materials, radiation damage, and the thermal-mechanical behavior of fuel
Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
Passion for clean energy and a startup-minded approach to problem-solving

Preferred

Experience with fuel performance codes (e.g., BISON, FRAPCON) is highly desirable
Knowledge of spent nuclear fuel characteristics, waste management, and regulatory frameworks
Familiarity with fuel fabrication or enrichment processes is a plus
