Responsibilities

Develops creative approaches to keep operational costs to a minimum, improve efficiency, and implements new strategies for Mechanical, Electrical, and Fire Life Safety systems
Tests performance of electromechanical assemblies and electronic volt meters
Reads blueprints, schematics, diagrams or technical orders to determine methods and sequences of processes
Inspects equipment for defects, leaks, and potential issues
Installs electrical/electronic parts and hardware in housings/assemblies with hand tools
Aligns, fits or assembles component parts using hand/power tools
Operates, monitors, maintains, and responds to abnormal conditions in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Life Safety, Security Systems, Building Monitoring Systems, and Control systems
Analyze systems to ensure best practice for internal/external customers
Provides feedback on effectiveness of existing standards and processes
Works with contractors and consultants to review quality assurance for all system expansions, corrections, and upgrades
Collaborates on the tracking and completing aggressive preventive and predictive maintenance programs
Collaborates on determining maintenance requirements for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire life safety systems, and security systems
Provide smart/remote hands assistance within specified SLA
Moves/Adds/Changes hardware install including labeling, power connectivity, and network cable connectivity

Required

Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical or electrical and industrial maintenance within a commercial or industrial setting
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources effectively, and adapt to changing priorities
Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems and Microsoft and Google Applications
Proven experience in maintenance operations in a commercial or industrial facility, with a focus on HVAC or Electrical systems
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, or HVAC experience with a proficiency in handling refrigerants
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, up to 40lbs
Ability to climb ladders and multiple flights of stairs to access elevated equipment
Ability to stand for long periods of time in various work environments
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach for equipment related tasks
Basic physical fitness to respond quickly to emergency situations and navigate areas quickly
Ability to move quickly and efficiently within various work environments to troubleshoot issues or respond to emergencies
Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity for working with small components and connectors
Clear vision, with or without correction, to perform tasks requiring attention to detail and precision while wearing safety glasses
Ability to differentiate between color-coded warning signs, labels, and cables
Ability to work in environments with a wide variety temperature inside a facility
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, rain, or snow
Capability to work in environments with elevated noise levels while wearing hearing protection
Possession of a valid driver's license for work-related travel, as required
