$30/hr - $30/hrA&K Elite Real Estate Services LLC is seeking a reliable and hardworking Handyman to join their property management team. The role involves supporting the upkeep and functionality of a mixed-use property, including performing maintenance and repairs across residential and commercial spaces while ensuring excellent service to tenants and clients.
Responsibilities
Perform routine inspections and maintenance across residential and commercial spaces, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems
Diagnose and repair appliances, fixtures, doors, equipment, and general property components to maintain a safe and functional environment for all occupants
Install fixtures, appliances, signage, hardware, and other property-related equipments as needed for both residential and commercial tenants
Ensure cleanliness and orderliness in mechanical rooms, maintennace areas, and shared spaces. Assist with exterior upkeep, including sidewalks, parking areas, and building entrances
Respond promplty and professionally to maintenance requests from tenants and property management staff. Provide guidance on preventative maintenance and property care
Ensure all work adheres to building codes, safety regulations, and company policies
Maintain detailed and accurate records of maintenance requests, work performed, materials used, and follow-up needs using company reporting systems
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in a handyman, maintenance technician, or similar role
Strong hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, HVAC basics, painting, and general building repairs
Ability to quickly assess issues and implement effective, timely solutions
Strong interpersonal skills to engage professionally with tenants and property management teams
Ability to use a computer and computer software to manage work orders
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
Must have a car and a valid driver's license
Preferred
property management experience preferred
Appfolio (or similar) and Microsoft Outlook a plus
