Responsibilities
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns
Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access or activity
Report any suspicious persons, vehicles, or activity observed during patrols to the appropriate authorities or site management
Document and communicate security-related incidents and observations according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols
Assist visitors and employees with security-related inquiries and provide directions as needed within the location
Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and site staff to maintain a secure environment at the location
Qualification
Required
Valid Driver's License
21+ years of age
Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
Preferred
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
