Responsibilities
Advise on complex financial transactions
Oversee and manage loan document drafting and due diligence review
Thrive in a fast paced constant changing environment
Have a deep understanding of banking and finance, real estate and regulatory laws
Structure transactions, negotiate and manage complex financial transactions
Prioritize, multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision
Work collaboratively with the rest of the team on projects
Qualification
Required
Seven plus years of substantive experience in a wide array of commercial banking transactions
Experience in drafting and negotiating complex loan documentation
Experience in reviewing due diligence materials, including for real estate and asset-based lending transactions
Substantive experience in construction lending
Experience in financing for land development
Ideally, affordable housing tax credit lending experience
Deep understanding of banking and finance, real estate, and regulatory laws
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to advise on issues related to structuring transactions, negotiating and managing complex financial transactions
Ability to multi-task and adapt as needed to work flow
Analytical with attention to detail
Solid drafting skills
Strong commercial banking experience
Good academic and professional credentials
Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to work collaboratively with the rest of the team on projects
Must be licensed to practice law in MN
Preferred
Candidates with affordable housing tax credit experience
