Star Holdings Group, a leading manufacturing company specializing in high-quality commercial cooking equipment, is seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Supply Chain Management. This role will oversee procurement operations and drive strategic sourcing initiatives to support the company's growth in the foodservice equipment industry.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels within the foodservice equipment manufacturing sector
Oversee transportation, warehousing, and distribution processes to ensure timely delivery of products to customers globally
Monitor inventory levels to balance supply and demand, minimize excess stock, and prevent shortages
Collaborate with procurement teams to manage supplier relationships, ensuring quality, reliability, and alignment with Star Holdings' standards
Use data and market trends to predict demand for our products, ensuring supply chain activities align accordingly
Identify potential risks in the supply chain (e.g., supplier failures, transportation delays) and develop contingency plans to mitigate impacts
Implement and manage systems like ERP software to streamline supply chain processes, supporting operational efficiency
Work with teams across operations, sales, and finance to align supply chain activities with the broader objectives of Star Holdings Group
Lead and manage the supply chain team to ensure effective sourcing, logistics, and supplier negotiations
Monitor and assess supplier and logistics performance to ensure compliance with Star Holdings Group’s standards and contractual agreements
Develop cost reduction strategies and drive continuous improvement in supply chain processes to support Star Holdings’ operational goals
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and corporate policies related to supply chain management and sourcing

Required

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred
7+ years of supply chain management experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills
Experience with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain management software
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong leadership and team management capabilities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment

Preferred

MBA preferred
Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), and Certified in Supply Management (CPSM) certifications are a plus
