Responsibilities
Lead process development, optimization, and troubleshooting for photolithography and Reactive Ion Etch (RIE) modules
Integrate and qualify new photoresists, polymers, and materials to reliably produce high-resolution patterns for downstream processes
Develop, document, and maintain process recipes, work instructions, SPC controls, and experimental reports
Characterize lithography and etch processes using metrology tools (profilometry, ellipsometry, microscopy, electrical measurements, etc.) to validate performance and identify sources of variation
Partner with equipment engineers to diagnose hardware issues, maintain tool uptime, and ensure stable process capability across production and R&D
Program and optimize track coaters, spin profiles, bake temperatures, edge-bead removal (EBR) recipes, and develop process windows for new materials
Support cross-functional R&D teams by translating new device designs into robust, manufacturable process flows
Qualification
Required
B.S. in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
3+ years of process development experience in MEMS, semiconductor manufacturing, or advanced materials fabrication
Hands-on experience with process characterization tools such as profilometry, ellipsometry, SEM/optical microscopy, film-thickness measurement, and critical-dimension analysis
Preferred
Demonstrated ability to develop, tune, and optimize RIE recipes, including plasma parameter adjustments and etch-rate/anisotropy characterization
Experience conducting short-loop experiments and refining lithography processes (coat, bake, expose, PEB, develop)
Working knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality-management systems
Experience with layout or mask-design software such as KLayout, AutoCAD, Cadence, or similar tools
