Responsibilities
Lead Cross-Functional Projects: Manage and guide cross-functional teams to deliver key plant sustaining projects that support cost-savings goals to lower total cost of manufacturing
Project Planning & Execution: Develop project plans, create business cases, define specifications, and manage budgets to ensure successful execution
Capital Management: Prepare and submit capital budget requests when required for projects
Comprehensive Project Management: Oversee projects across all plant departments, including product design changes, product material changes, process changes related to product changes and feasibility work at project inception
Continuous Improvement: Identify, propose, and implement sustaining projects that significantly reduce total cost of manufacture
Vendor & Equipment Management: Manage vendor relationships and oversee equipment design, specifications, procurement, and installation as needed
Machine & Process Implementation: Direct the purchase, installation, and commissioning of new machines and processes, including custom-built solutions as needed
Problem Solving & Innovation: Provide leadership in creative problem-solving and develop solutions independently, securing necessary resources as needed
Technology Development: Research, develop, and implement new technologies related to sustaining projects as needed
Validation & Analysis: Write and execute test method validations, process validations, and measurement system analyses to ensure compliance and quality standards
Qualification
Required
BS degree – Science, or Engineering related field
3 years experience in sustaining or process engineering with project management experience in a manufacturing environment
