Responsibilities

Academic Support: Assist students with assignments, homework, and projects. Provide one-on-one or small-group instructional support. Utilize strategies to enhance student learning

Social/Emotional/Behavioral Support: Provide emotional support and encouragement to students. Assist with social and emotional skills development. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Use individual and general classroom management strategies to promote academic and social engagement. Support students in managing their emotions and behavior

Communicate effectively with students, teachers, parents and other professionals. Collaborate with staff and supervisors as needed to assess and monitor concerns

Ensure overall safety and well-being for students in their care and supervision

Support students in related therapies as required

Work collaboratively with a supervisor when providing consultation and feedback

Participate in ongoing annual training and professional development opportunities

Stay up-to-date on best practices in education and behavioral health

Incorporate trauma-informed practices

Maintain accurate timesheets and complete session notes in Central Reach
