Manager, Trust Tax

Responsibilities

Demonstrate strong understanding of client's business, products, performance, and tax accounting policies
Prepare tax compliance, checking, classifying, and compiling information within a previously defined framework
Arrange claims on taxable income, deductible expenses, reliefs, and allowances; maintain flexibility by adapting effectively when dealing with different tasks, responsibilities, people, and environments
Manage an account load of approximately 1,000 to 2,000 fiduciary and agency accounts
Support senior associate/management in work assignments and develop, motivate, and train less experienced staff members
Develop industry specific knowledge and update skills on tax matters

Required

Minimum five years of recent public accounting and/or trust tax experience
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; Licensed CPA, JD/LLM or EA, in addition to others on KPMG's approved credential listing; any individual who does not possess at least one of the approved designations/credentials when their employment commences, has one year from their date of hire to obtain at least one of the approved designations/credentials; should you like to see the complete list of currently approved designations/credentials for the hiring practice/service line, your recruiter can provide you with that list
Ability to handle multiple engagements and client service teams
Experience with MS Office applications
Must be able to meet challenging client requirements and possess strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, writing and research abilities
Demonstrated knowledge of Internal Revenue Code
