LHH is seeking an Accounting Manager for a high-impact leadership role within a growing, multi-location organization. The role involves managing the general ledger, leading financial close processes, and providing financial guidance while supervising a team of accounting professionals.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain the general ledger, including oversight of assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses

Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and related financial reporting

Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of financial statements and supporting schedules

Partner with operations and leadership by providing financial guidance in a multi-location environment

Supervise, mentor, and develop a small team of accounting professionals

Support internal and external audit activities, including preparation of documentation and responses

Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements

Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to increase efficiency

Assist senior accounting leadership with special projects, research, and ad hoc analyses

Perform additional duties and projects as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting

Active CPA license

8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including people management or supervisory experience

Strong working knowledge of GAAP, financial statements, and internal controls

Demonstrated ability to improve processes and drive operational efficiencies

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Preferred

Experience supporting multi-location organizations

Large and/or public company experience strongly preferred

Experience with Workday GL or other large ERP systems preferred
