The role involves supervising and performing various processes in poultry operations, ensuring safety and quality while working collaboratively with team members.

Responsibilities
Collect and process blood, culture, and tissue samples
Complete necessary paperwork to submit samples to laboratory
Administer rodent/insect control plan, application, and results of process
Catch and place pullets into coops
Unload breeder stock into layer barns
Assist in moving male roosters from stud barn
Assist in 12-week and 18-week vaccinations of pullets
Conduct water and spray vaccinations of pullets
Delegate and coordinate team members for daily responsibilities
Qualification
Required
Must hold current Class-A CDL
Ability to read and write English (for record keeping purposes)
Ability to follow both written and verbal direction
Ability to communicate effectively with others in a manner that maintains harmony with co-workers
Valid Pilgrim's Pallet jack license or ability to obtain license within 30 days
CDL is required or the ability to obtain a CDL when classes are next available
Preferred
Bilingual skills in languages used within the department preferred, but not required
