Striker Crushing & Screening is a growing, Australian-owned business that builds tough crushing and screening gear. They are seeking an Automation & Software Engineer to enhance their in-house systems and machinery software, focusing on problem-solving and system integration.

Responsibilities

Rewriting and maintaining machine control software (Codesys) across our equipment fleet
Designing and modifying electrical control panels and schematics
Integrating and troubleshooting PLC, HMI, and PDM systems
Connecting software platforms to streamline our manufacturing processes
Working closely with the production and R&D teams to roll out improvements
Supporting installs and upgrades across Australia and international sites

Qualification

Required

Degree or trade background in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar
Strong experience with PLCs, HMIs, and Codesys (or similar platforms)
Experience in panel design, wiring standards, and machine automation
Solid understanding of industrial control systems and communications (OPC UA, Modbus, CANbus, etc.)

Preferred

Bonus points for Python, SQL, C#, or integrating business software with machinery
