Senior Director, North America Operations
Milacron is a global leader in the manufacture, distribution, and service of highly engineered systems within the plastic technology industry. They are seeking a Senior Director of North America Operations to develop and implement operational strategies, manage site leadership teams, and drive performance metrics across multiple facilities in North America.

Responsibilities
Maintain full site responsibility for the Afton, McPherson, Mt Orab, and Atlanta US facilities
Functional responsibility for assembly, manufacturing, warehouse, and facilities maintenance
Identify overall business needs and develop strategic plans to satisfy those needs
Monitor the business performance throughout the year and initiate corrective actions where necessary to ensure the NA operations meets defined goals through metrics and common/best practices
Recruit, develop, and mentor site managers and key operational staff
Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Ensure standardized processes and policies are implemented and maintained across all locations
Drive operational efficiencies through systems improvements, automation, and lean practices
Deliver customer satisfaction by continuous development and improvement in on-time delivery
Manage and optimize site budgets, P&Ls, and cost structures
Collaborate with finance to ensure accurate forecasting and resource allocation
Establish, track, and report on KPIs for all sites (e.g., safety, lead time, costs, OTD, quality, productivity)
Analyze operational data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and best practices
Maintain a customer-centric approach by regularly evaluating service quality across sites
Implement initiatives to enhance satisfaction, retention, and brand loyalty
Monitor the business performance throughout the year and initiate corrective actions where necessary to ensure the NA operations meets defined goals through metrics and common/best practices
Qualification
Required
8+ years progressively responsible experience in operations management roles
Bachelor's degree with engineering or business related focus
Previous experience leading and managing world class machine shop and low volume, high mix assembly operations environment
Strong working knowledge of Lean manufacturing and Operational Excellence principles
Technical understanding of the design and manufacturing of highly engineered industrial products will be highly beneficial
Solid leadership and matrix team management skills
Experience upgrading teams, processes and systems coupled with effective problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Multi-Site Experience is Essential
