HR Manager
Danone is a purpose-driven company and an industry leader in the food and beverage category. The HR Manager will support manufacturing operations, build organizational capability, and lead various HR programs while ensuring adherence to plant standards.
Responsibilities
Support our manufacturing operations in Bridgeton, New Jersey
Build strategic organizational capability across the business
Collaborate with plant business leaders and HR COEs to support and lead site labor & employee relations, recruitment, talent management, culture, and the facilitation of various HR programs
Be the point-of-contact for all plant associates and leaders
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in human resources management or related field, required
Minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible HR leadership experience supporting diverse client groups, and at least 5 years within a manufacturing / industrial / supply chain environment, required
At least 3 years (preferred 5+) union/labor relations experience within a manufacturing / industrial / supply chain environment, required
Computer proficiency in MS Office products (including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), required
You possess broad HR knowledge with a working knowledge and understanding of HR principles, policies, processes, and technology, required
You have experience successfully leading, coaching, developing, and building a high-performing HR team of direct reports, required
You have experience with managing medical leaves, interactive process meetings and return to work programs
Demonstrated ability building and leveraging strong relationships while influencing, persuading, and inspiring diverse teams, required
You possess professional agility, the ability to deal with ambiguity, and adaptability in a fast-changing business environment, required
Ability to develop and maintain a strong local talent pipeline and prepare succession planning for all positions, required
Ability to lead with respect, confidence, and managerial courage in challenging environments, required
Ability to partner with plant leadership to develop and execute a long-term strategic plan and vision for the plant
Demonstrated ability to build quantifiable metrics, while analyzing and interpreting data
Ability to manage complex employee relations & labor relations matters, including investigations, and ethics complaints
Ability to drive growth and change and are willing to challenge the status quo with a positive attitude and influencing style
You have a commitment to continuous improvement, developing best practices, driving for results, and finding solutions
You can maintain a flexible schedule including the ability to work off-hours and/or weekends as needed to support a 24/7 manufacturing environment
Preferred
A master's degree and/or SPHR/SHRM-SCP certifications are preferred
Experience with Ceridian Dayforce is a plus
