Responsibilities
Collaborate with senior engineers to assist in the design and analysis of traffic engineering projects, including traffic signal plans, roadway design, traffic impact studies, and transportation planning
Conduct data collection and analysis to assess traffic flow, safety, and efficiency using various methodologies and software tools
Prepare technical reports, drawings, and project documentation
Participate in field visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable regulations
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies in traffic engineering
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including design, planning, and construction, to ensure seamless project execution
Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and workflows
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Recent graduate or up to 2 years of relevant work experience in traffic engineering or transportation planning
Strong understanding of traffic engineering principles and methodologies
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective verbal and written communication abilities
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
EIT certification for Engineer Track
Preferred
Familiarity with traffic engineering software and tools, such as Synchro, VISSIM, or AutoCAD, is a plus
