Central Maine Community College is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join our Student Financial Service team. This position plays a key role in managing student accounts and supporting excellent customer service across the campus community.

Responsibilities

Providing high-quality customer service to students, parents, faculty, and staff by responding to inquiries, concerns, and questions related to accounts and billing

Supervising frontline staff, including assigning daily workload, ensuring accuracy of duties, and providing training in customer service and related responsibilities

Managing student accounts within the Student Information System (SIS), including reconciling financial aid disbursements using financial aid and registration reports

Processing student stipends via paper check, Positive Pay, and/or direct deposit

Managing the TouchNet System, including importing, deleting, and updating student ID numbers; establishing book allowances; and defining and maintaining meal plans

Managing the student account collections process

Recommending and developing process efficiencies and customer service standards related to student billing and refunds
