Investments Operations & Accounting Analyst

The Investments Operations & Accounting Analyst will support the management and administration of investment portfolios, focusing on accounting, performance reporting, and enhancing operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of monthly performance reports and quarterly investor accounting statements. Reconcile the custodians accounting records to the performance book of record, serve as the liaison with the custodian to maintain and enhance accounting processes, review valuations and transactions, and facilitate distribution of reports
Coordinate annual audits by preparing documentation, organizing schedules, and responding promptly to auditor inquiries. Work with the Director to ensure all audit requirements are completed within established timelines
Support the preparation of annual financial statements by providing reconciliations, verifying account balances, and resolving discrepancies
Coordinate portfolio rebalancing and cash management, ensuring accurate transaction execution and settlement across brokers, managers, and custodians. Prepare weekly cash position reports for review by the Director
Support investor relations activities for the endowment portfolio, including performance reporting, investor communications, and coordination of meetings and events
Facilitate the onboarding and offboarding of investment managers, ensuring accounts are properly set up, documentation is complete, data is accurate, and any system or process issues are promptly addressed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business accounting and/or finance
Over three years of accounting experience including cash management and/or performance reporting
Heavy attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
Advanced excel skills with experience building models
Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills, both written and oral
Self-motivated and highly organized, with the ability to independently manage multiple projects and priorities across multiple stakeholders
Preferred
CPA license, a plus
Programming skills a plus
