The role involves providing support to the Commercial Lines Department by assisting with servicing new and existing clients and handling various documentation and account management tasks.

Responsibilities
Prepares and delivers Certificates of Insurance, Evidence of Insurance and Auto ID documents for all Commercial Lines clients
Handles daily servicing of accounts including processing endorsements, audits, and policy checking
Performs renewal procedures after the Account Manager has requested renewal coverage to be bound
Maintains current activity log and follows up on open tasks and activities
Assists in file cleanup and maintenance along with system maintenance
Accesses carrier websites to retrieve and process endorsements and audits
Remains current with industry standards, changes and trends
Performs special projects and other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Property & Casualty license with the State of Michigan (or within 1 year)
High school diploma or GED
Proficiency with MS Office Suite, AMS 360 and/or industry software experience
work products with a client service focus, and respond with a sense of urgency
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Exceptional telephone demeanor
Must complete CL Training Program
Must be a Team Player
Highly organized with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver timely and accurate
Preferred
Insurance Designation (ie CISR, CIC, ARM etc)
Associate or bachelor's degree in a business or financial related discipline
1 - 2 years of experience in similar position
Previous experience in the insurance industry
