Responsibilities

Provision and coordination of competent, evidence-based care along the care continuum, which includes assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation
Participates in decision-making, teaching, mentoring, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to advance the patient plan of care, achieve outcomes and enhance operational efficiency
Perform duties associated with symptom-management, direct in-clinic patient care, and/or telehealth patient care and quality improvement activities

Qualification

Registered Nurse licenseBasic Life Support certificationAssociates of NursingAdvanced Life Support certificationPatient assessment skillsTeaching skillsUnderstanding legal implicationsCollaboration skillsMentoring skills

Required

Minimum of one year of RN experience
Associates of Nursing (ASN)
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program
Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
Awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse

Preferred

Bachelor of Nursing (BSN)
Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies
Ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction
