Responsibilities
Translate business and development team requirements into automated platform solutions
Work with a security and compliance team and platform engineers to implement secure infrastructure features, configurations, and automation to create a dynamic platform-as-a-service for development teams
Utilize expertise in AWS Cloud, Cloud or network security, containers and Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
Troubleshoot platform application deployments and configurations
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience with DevOps for containerized or Kubernetes production systems
2+ years of experience working with AWS Cloud and Docker
2+ years of experience with IaC, including Terraform or Ansible
Experience with Kubernetes deployment and GitOps tooling, including Helm, Flux, or Argo CD
Experience with CI/CD and developer workflow automation such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodeStar or CodePipeline
Experience with cloud or network security architecture, including least privilege, IAM, RBAC, or Boundary Protection
Experience troubleshooting platform application deployments and configurations
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
Ability to obtain an AWS Solution Architect Associate Certification within 6 months of start date
Preferred
Experience with concepts of Service Meshes such as Istio or AWS App Mesh
Experience with Keycloak
Experience with Cloud Native servers, Kubernetes platforms, and container registries
Experience with vulnerability management and dynamic or static code analysis
Experience with hardened AMIs and container images such as DoD STIGs or CIS Benchmarks
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering
DoD 8570 IAT Level II or III Certification
