Responsibilities
Driving the comprehensive budgeting, financial modeling, and forecasting cycles necessary to support ambitious growth and capital planning
Complete ownership of the accounting function, ensuring accuracy and integrity of the books, records, and internal controls for our lending operations
Proactive management and optimization of cash flow and treasury functions to ensure maximum capital efficiency
Serving as a primary point of contact for our institutional LP base, external CPAs, auditors, legal counsel, and other critical service providers, ensuring seamless reporting and compliance
Collaborating directly with the CEO on high-level strategic initiatives, including system implementations, capital raises, and operational scaling
Qualification
Required
Demonstrable experience working within or extensively auditing private equity structures, funds, or VC Funds and portfolio companies
Deep expertise in GAAP and financial operations, ideally within Traditional PE or VC, Commercial Real Estate, Corporate Credit, or Structured Finance
The ability to execute detailed accounting tasks while thinking strategically about the company's financial future
Comfortable operating remotely in the short term, with a commitment to integrating into the Denver office as we transition to a long-term hybrid model
