Assistant Professor, Engineering

Carthage College is seeking an engineering educator to join their Department of Engineering as an Assistant Professor on a three-year renewable contract. The successful applicant will shape a new engineering program focused on hands-on, experiential learning and contribute to teaching and advising undergraduate engineering students.

Meet all requirements for a Ph.D. in an Engineering discipline by August 2026

Enthusiasm for educating students from widely varying backgrounds

Preferred

Background in electronics, controls, Internet of Things (IoT), biochemical processes, or systems analysis
