Welder 1 - Swing Shift
Key Technology is a global leader in the design and manufacture of food processing technology, providing innovative solutions to the food industry since 1948. They are seeking a Welder to work in a dynamic, high-energy production environment, fabricating stainless steel equipment used in food processing by fitting and welding assemblies and sub-assemblies according to blueprints and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities
Fabricate stainless steel equipment used in food processing
Use blue-prints and engineering drawings to fit and weld assemblies and sub-assemblies
Qualification
Required
High school education, community college weld program, technical weld school, or equivalent experience
Three years' experience in welding fabrication. Basic GMAW and GTAW abilities
Knowledge of gas torch and plasma equipment, overhead crane operations, pneumatic hand tools such grinders
Able to use fixtures, templates, stops and/or guides
Welders at Key have experience in MIG, TIG, and TIP/TIG welding
Position is contingent on success completion of weld written and practical tests
Preferred
Skills in all forms of GMAW welding
Your competence in reading and fully understanding manufacturing drawings
The ability to work with minimum supervision
Your ability to contribute to the team's performance
Your confidence with measurements, tolerances, and both imperial measurement and metric system
