Human Resources Generalist, Payroll & Benefits Focus
Northwest Respiratory Services is seeking an experienced HR professional to join our team as an HR Generalist. This role will focus primarily on payroll processing, benefits administration, and leave management, while also supporting compensation initiatives.

Responsibilities
Manage bi-weekly payroll cycles with accuracy and timeliness. Ensure proper calculation of benefits deductions and perform carrier connection audits. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
Serve as primary contact for benefits-related questions and issue resolution. Lead annual open enrollment, including employee communication and system updates
Administer FMLA and other leave programs in compliance with regulations. Track leave requests, approvals, and return-to-work processes. Provide guidance to employees and managers on leave policies
Conduct salary surveys to benchmark market competitiveness. Support compensation planning and pay equity initiatives
Assist with annual state and federal reports, affirmative action plans, and audits. Update benefits, process terminations, final checks, and manage COBRA
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or general education degree
3+ years of Human Resource experience
Knowledge of HRIS systems
Up to date on employment laws and regulations
Preferred
1+ years with multi-site environment experience
Payroll & Benefits Administration Experience
Proven success with consistency in a fast-paced environment
Ability to multi-task and communicate effectively and efficiently
