Responsibilities
Providing excellent guest service is at the heart of what we do. Whether it’s a friendly greeting, answering questions or addressing guest concerns, you’ll handle each interaction with professionalism and care. Your willingness to help guests with what they need will make a positive impact every day
Be part of the team stocking our aisles. Ensure products are fresh, in-date, properly rotated, and well-stocked
Help guests locate products on and off the sales floor, providing product suggestions and alternatives when appropriate
Unload deliveries, organize stock, and maintain accurate inventory levels
Work closely with the Grocery Department Manager and collaborate with Grocery associate team to meet goals
Contribute to keeping the department clean, sanitized, tidy, and well-maintained as needed
Address guest concerns with care and professionalism
Ensure shelves are fully stocked by designated times
Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
A helpful attitude and a commitment to excellent guest service
Strong teamwork and communication skills to work efficiently and effectively with others
Awareness of safety requirements and policies, including proper lifting techniques and box cutter safety
Ability to operate equipment such as power jacks, fork lift, walk-behind lifts, balers, and compactors (training provided)
The associate must possess the ability to stand in place for long periods of time; work in a cooler, walk in the store; bend, stoop and kneel regularly
The associate must have full range of upper body motion in order to lift product. Requires the ability to perform repetitive tasks for prolonged periods of time
Must possess functional sensory abilities in order to visually monitor the store, create attractive displays, and to operate equipment
The position requires the associate to lift up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis

Weekly Pay & Premium Pay: Hourly associates are paid weekly, providing more frequent access to their funds. Part-time store associates are paid a $1 premium per hour on Sundays and select holidays. Hourly full-time store associates receive time and a half on Sundays and select holidays.
Two-Week Advanced Scheduling: Better Planning. Better Balance. We provide our associates with their schedules two weeks in advance, offering greater predictability & flexibility.
