This role involves connecting women with resources and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to promote wellness and recovery.

Responsibilities
Offer mentorship, encouragement, and peer support in individual and group settings
Guide women through recovery goals and connect them with resources and sober support networks
Advocate for patients during treatment planning and help break down barriers to recovery
Build bridges between patients and healthcare, social services, and the recovery community
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and maintain accurate documentation
Promote wellness by encouraging attendance at therapy, medical appointments, and recovery activities
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
Completion of Recovery Coach training (ethics included)
Certified Recovery Specialist (or commitment to obtain within 6 months)
In recovery with a minimum of 2 years of sustained sobriety
Has personal experience with addiction and pregnancy
Trained as a Recovery Coach (or willing to complete certification within 6 months)
Passionate about helping others find their own path to recovery
A strong communicator and team player
Comfortable using basic technology and electronic medical records
Able to set healthy boundaries and respect confidentiality
