Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement Appian-based solutions that meet business and technical requirements

Lead the end-to-end Appian project lifecycle, including design sessions, architecture planning, development, testing, deployment, and support

Collaborate closely with business analysts, architects, and project managers to translate business needs into technical solutions

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and guide best practices in Appian design and development

Integrate Appian applications with external systems using web services, APIs, and databases

Optimize and troubleshoot existing Appian applications to improve performance and user experience

Ensure adherence to Appian design standards, security guidelines, and compliance frameworks

Stay current with Appian platform updates and continuously identify opportunities for innovation and improvement

Required

3–6+ years of hands-on experience developing solutions on the Appian Low-code Platform

Strong understanding of Appian objects (records, reports, interfaces, process models, CDTs, constants, and rules)

Experience with Appian Plug-ins, Appian Sites, and Sail UI design

Proficiency in SQL, XML, and web service integration

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Preferred

Certified Appian Level 2 (Senior) or Level 3 (Lead) Developer (preferred)

Experience with integration tools, AWS/Azure, or other low-code platforms

Prior consulting or client-facing experience
