Growth Opportunities

Responsibilities

Lead or contribute to engineering projects from concept through implementation
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with RMS quality standards
Support in the design and component selection for new and existing equipment
Provide feedback on manufacturability, material selection, and production methods
Work closely with design and production teams to transition new products from concept to full-scale manufacturing
Collect and analyze warranty and component failure data to identify trends and opportunities for improvements
Support rapid prototyping efforts and collect testing data to help determine design or component changes
Serve as a key resource for troubleshooting component and production issues and developing effective, long-term solutions
Support root cause analysis and corrective action efforts in partnership with Operations teams
Analyze and improve existing engineering and manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement strategies throughout Operations

Required

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of engineering or manufacturing experience preferred
Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles a plus
Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems is beneficial
An Individual that has a Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering background with hands-on experience in a production environment
An Individual that is Self-Motivated and takes initiative to identify areas for improvement and drive solutions forward
An Individual that has a Strong Understanding of Manufacturing Processes such as machining, welding, assembly, and fabrication
An Individual with Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills that can collect, interpret, and act on production data
An Individual that thrives in a Collaborative Environment, working closely with team members in design, production, and service departments
An Individual that is Detail-Oriented and Organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
An Individual that has a Growth Mindset and a willingness to learn, share ideas, and support the success of the broader team
An Individual that embraces an Ownership Mentality, taking pride in the quality of their work and the impact it has on the company and its customers
