Entry Level Google Ads Specialist – Paid Search, Landing Pages & Growth

Trademarkia is hiring an Entry Level Google Ads Specialist who will work directly with the CEO and take meaningful ownership of paid acquisition and landing page performance. This role involves self-learning, leading execution, and continuously improving results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Own day-to-day execution of Google Ads and Bing Ads campaigns with meaningful monthly spend
Independently research, design, launch, and optimize campaigns
Perform keyword research, search term mining, competitive analysis, and intent modeling
Write, test, and iterate ad copy focused on CTR, Quality Score, and conversions
Monitor bids, budgets, impression share, CPA, and ROAS with minimal supervision
Bring proactive recommendations to the CEO backed by data
Design landing pages in Figma focused on conversion, clarity, and speed
Translate paid search intent into effective page structure, messaging, and CTAs
Work with engineers to turn Figma designs into live, high-performing pages
Run A/B and multivariate tests across headlines, layouts, forms, and CTAs
Analyze performance using heatmaps, session recordings, and analytics tools
Track and analyze CTR, CPA, conversion rate, ROAS, funnel drop-offs, and LTV
Use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Hotjar, and internal dashboards
Build simple, clear performance summaries for the CEO
Identify bottlenecks and propose experiments to improve outcomes
Learn how trademark law and advertising regulations affect paid search
Assist in reviewing ad copy and landing pages for trademark usage and disclosures
Understand how legal constraints intersect with growth and performance decisions
You are expected to self-teach Google Ads, CRO, analytics, and tooling beyond any formal training
You should proactively test ideas, measure results, and iterate quickly
You must be comfortable taking responsibility, making decisions, and learning from mistakes

Required

Bachelor's degree (or final year) in Marketing, Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field
Strong analytical thinking and comfort with numbers and dashboards
Solid written communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to work in person in Mountain View
Demonstrated ability to learn independently

Preferred

Figma landing page design experience (portfolio or samples preferred)
Exposure to Google Ads, SEM, or paid acquisition (academic, internship, or personal projects)
Familiarity with conversion rate optimization or A/B testing concepts
Interest in startups, growth marketing, or performance-driven environments
