Part-Time Receptionist/Activities Assistant
ClearView Healthcare Management is seeking a Part-Time Receptionist/Activities Assistant at Bedford Springs Health and Rehabilitation. This dual-role position involves greeting visitors and supporting residents through engaging activities, creating a positive environment for both residents and families.

Responsibilities
Assist in planning, coordinating, and evaluating resident activities and programs
Encourage resident participation in scheduled activities and events
Escort residents on outings or activities outside the facility as assigned
Register residents for trips, programs, and special events
Conduct activities under the direction of the Resident Program Director
Maintain and organize activity supplies, including purchasing items when necessary
Observe residents during activities and share relevant information with appropriate staff
Assist in surveying and interviewing residents to determine interests, talents, and satisfaction
Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff member
Page employees or transfer callers to voicemail when necessary
Greet visitors and guide them to their intended destinations
Provide general facility information such as address, directions, fax number, and other inquiries
Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail; manage outgoing mail and courier pickups (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
Perform clerical tasks such as copying, faxing, filing, and other administrative duties as assigned
Maintain a safe working environment and follow safety protocols
Demonstrate a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and coworkers
Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional interpersonal communication skills and strong organizational skills
The ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments
High school diploma or GED required or equivalent related work experience
Skill at working with individuals who have cognitive, physical, or sensory disabilities
Preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word is a plus
