Senior Research Analyst, Psychology
University at Buffalo is seeking a Senior Research Analyst for a grant-supported position focused on a longitudinal study of tobacco and cannabis exposed children. Responsibilities
Participant Contact: Participant Contact involves tracking participants and scheduling appointments
Data Collection: Data collection involves conducting assessments with participating families
Assessments: Assessments involve interviewing adolescents and their parents on sensitive topics, including substance use, collecting heart rate data and hair samples, and video-recording family interactions
Other administrative tasks including checking data and assisting with administrative tasks such as project mailings, photocopying, maintaining the project database, and coding observational assessments
Qualification
Required
Full-time or part-time availability
Experience in participant contact and scheduling appointments
Experience in data collection and conducting assessments with families
Ability to interview adolescents and their parents on sensitive topics, including substance use
Experience in collecting heart rate data and hair samples
Experience in video-recording family interactions
Ability to perform administrative tasks including checking data, project mailings, photocopying, maintaining the project database, and coding observational assessments
Ability to work under general direction and consult with supervisors as needed
