Responsibilities
Support daily activities in the laboratory by leading general operations, housekeeping, orderliness, and cleanliness of the workspace
Receiving and labeling of incoming samples
Maintaining and receiving sufficient labware inventory
Preparing buffers and reagents
Troubleshooting and operating equipment needed for PCR Production
Reviewing and archiving task-related documents
Organization and movement of physical samples
Performing designated physical seed quality analysis
Supporting and running automated lab equipment in a fast paced work environment while maintaining a high level of quality
Following Employee Safety and Health (ESH) guidelines
Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Maintaining a safe work environment
Managing multiple tasks
Working effectively with more than one Supervisor
Interfacing with other functions such as manufacturing and research personnel
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
1-3 Years of Experience
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced global and multi-cultural environment
Understanding and following Employee Safety and Health (ESH) guidelines
Understanding and following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Understanding and following workflow guidelines
Maintaining a safe work environment
Being capable of managing multiple tasks
Working effectively with more than one Supervisor
Interfacing with other functions such as manufacturing and research personnel
Preferred
Bachelors degree
Related experience and/or training
