Create detailed designs and specifications for tools, dies, molds, and fixtures
Utilize CAD software to produce and modify design drawings
Develop prototypes and conduct tests to validate design functionality and performance
Analyze results and make necessary adjustments to designs
Work closely with engineers, machinists, and production staff to understand tool requirements
Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure tools meet regulatory and quality standards
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budgets
Maintain documentation of design processes and revisions
Identify opportunities for design improvements and cost reductions
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in tool design technology
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field
Proven experience in tool design and manufacturing processes
Ability to obtain a tow motor license
Successfully pass LOTO and confined space training
