Responsibilities

Troubleshoot equipment failures, determine the best course of action for equipment modifications, and apply your expertise to maintain, operate, and repair HVAC systems and associated equipment, including electrical distribution and plumbing systems
You will be responsible for the replacement of components such as coils, motors, and compressors on rooftop units (RTUs), ranging in capacity from 5 to 20 tons
Must demonstrate effective time management and organizational skills in reviewing work orders, provide estimated time of completion and materials needed to complete the repair
Maintain truck stock inventory to account for adequate supplies and tools
Preform preventive maintenance work orders to ensure that building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life; oversee repairs and emergency maintenance as needed
Oversee compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and company directives related to building operations and work safety
Operate company-issued vehicles in the execution of daily work responsibilities
Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement

Required

High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered
Universal CFC certification and Valid Driver's license required
Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more
Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office and Apple products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc
Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset

Preferred

Prior experience working with rooftop units (RTUs) is strongly preferred
Service Channel experience is a plus
